What is rhe benefit of buying this phone on amazon as opposed to from the Motorola Website?

If you have prime you can get the phone in just a couple of days whereas ordering through Motorola delivery takes longer. If you buy through Amazon you are still eligible for the Moto Care extended warranty as long as you sign up within the first 30 days of purchase of the phone so no difference there. Motorola only gives you 14-days to return the phone if you decide you do not like it, whereas if you buy directly from Amazon they will give 30-days. The benefit of going through Motorola is that you can customize your phone through their moto-maker tool, so if you want a different color back or 64GB instead of 16GB or 32GB offered on Amazon you might want to go through Motorola.

 Yes, it is totally unlocked.

Yes, it works perfectly fine here. The only thing you have to take into account is that you´ll need a nanosim for it. You can easily ask for one to your mobile company.

How bad is the switch from AMOLED to LCD? Is it very noticeable? Is the screen still great regardless?

 I think the LCD is much better. Also, I could never see my Super AMOLED screen outside (unless I was in a well shaded area) I can view the LCD in the direct/bright sunlight without any problem.
